We previously posted about an artist’s NY pad that seemed a little bit grandiose, but this one really takes the biscuit.
This penthouse occupies four floors of a Manhattan property and is probably one of the most unique homes in the city. Firstly you’ll notice one thing dominates: the silver slide. We’ve seen this kind of installation in modern office buildings before, but never in a property. Just imagine how easy it would be to answer the door or phone when you’re upstairs.
The white throughout is reminiscent of a gallery/ studio, and with this much artwork on display, the home functions as something a personal gallery. The entrance and opening hallway even feel like you’re walking in to a modern art museum.
Of course to stop you from feeling lazy for getting the slide, some of the support pillars have been turned in to climbing walls that lead throughout key rooms all the way to the top.
And up on the roof is a private lounge area offering extremely enviable views of Manhattan in every direction.
